Got back late last night after spending the weekend at our home in Dunsmuir ( My escape place ). Drove to the McCloud early Sunday a.m. Wind was still blowing as I drove the road along the McCloud resevoir. I noticed the lake was making a low lying fog due to the air being 33 degrees and the lake was in the 50's. Took a few photo's before heading down to Ah-Di-Nah. Hiked up river about a quarter mile before fishing due to alot of flyfishing campers at the camp ground. Nymphed with only a few grabs for a few hours, only saw a few rises, but thru on a dry and started getting lots of small fish. Made my way up to the waterfall that is the starting point of the "gorge". A small green drake hatch started in the riffle and thats when I got a couple of better fish. Great day with some nice fish and some nice photo's I hope you all will enjoy. It is my favorite river to fish.
