Hit up a little lake in the mountains that has only given me small bass and sunfish. Well this time the lake showed me what it can hold. I fished for about 2 hours in the afternoon and only got 3 fish, but they were 3 real nice bass. I was throwing one of my favorite poppers for bass when all of a sudden I saw something that made my jaw drop. I have never seen a bass in this lake over 12 inches, I have heard rumors, but never seen bigger. The water erupted and it was game on. I caught 3 in a matter of 15 minutes and it was a blast. I won't mention the lake but I will say it is above 4,000 feet and the view is awesome. The smallest was 20" and I think the biggest was about 24" or 26" and heavy.
