Spent Friday-Sunday on the Lower Sac. It was our first time fishing this piece of water so we were guided by Gabe Duran (www.tuscandrifters.com) on Friday. Gabe is a great dude and I highly recommend him for the Lower Sac. Perhaps the best proof I can offer of his awesomeness is the fact that not only did we catch some great fish with him on Friday, but he taught us enough and explained the river well enough that we drifted on our own and caught fish the next two days as well. We spent Saturday and Sunday on our own for the maiden voyage of our new-to-us/used driftboat. We got a great deal on this beautiful boat right here on the Kiene board and we have anxiously been anticipating finally getting it out on the water. The weather was all over the map, with everything from blazing sun to howling winds to epic downpours. A great time was had and fish were caught. Here are a few pics from Saturday/Sunday.

Ben, nice photos as usual!!! Looks like you and Brian scored a sweet Clacka - good call.

And Gabe Duran is a fishy stud, ain't he? Glad you guys hooked up w/ that man-bear-ball-of-goodness. Cheers.

"And Amigos forever we'll beeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!"

What drift did you end up doing?

Posse to Anderson all three days. Didn't get on the water till about 10 each morning and it was about a 10 hour float.

The boat was great...infinitely more comfortable than the pontoon. I have a feeling that the Scadden will make its way onto the Classified section of this board very quickly.

And yes, Gabe is a fishy dude and simply a fun guy to hang out with. Doesn't hurt that he knows that river like the back of his hand.

There were plenty of cold beers consumed = superb day x 10!
