The males are all black with white patches on their wings and are really pretty but it's an almost impossible shot to get. The move a lot faster than me or my camera!!

Great shots! That Phainopeplas is a new species for me. Very interesting with the red eye.
I sure miss those tanagers. Southern Oregon was just thick with em. Our tanagers here are the Scarlet Tanagers and I have yet to see one.

Those fish shots do make me want to dig out my fishing gear :-)

Those were all shot with a Canon T2i and a 70-200MM 2.8 L IS ll Lens...
