I fished the Truckee yesterday from 6:30 AM until 3:00 PM. I landed three fish including this one:

This brown was about 18". I caught another brown about the same size and one rainbow that was 19". I hooked and lost several smaller fish so for once I can say, the big ones didn't get away!
Flying ants came out briefly at about 10:30 AM. By the time I switched from indicator fishing to dries, they were gone, but I quickly got three strikes, which I missed, from medium sized fish on a Carpenter Ant pattern. I flogged the water for another hour with no further top water action.
In the afternoon I tossed my waders in the car and did some wet wading for the first time this year. That felt great!
