Aloha, just watched the fishing frontiers fly show on tv and saw Matt Schliske on there with his bamboo flyrods. They were fishing the miracle mile in wyoming in high water. I was there last summer and it was way too high to fish. Nice to see matt get some exposure on TV. He makes some nice rods. Mems.

Aloha Don,.... Interesting stuff. I see Schliske made several videos on Bamboo rod making/repair. I'm going to look for one of his videos about repairing a metal ferrule. Thanks for sharing.... :D

Hey Darian, Matt has a website and I think one of the you-tubes is on ferrule construction. Matt sent me an e-mail and has recently moved to florida. If you need repairs, you can e-mail him off his website. I told him he now needs to build a saltwater 8wt for the bonefish. Darian good luck in baja this summer, it looks like it will be a good year.
