SA Skagit Extreme Head

Picked up a 440 grain SA Extreme head from Bill on Thursday. Used it on my 7 wt TCX switch rod. It's an intermediate head and worked great with a T-11 MOW tip and a 15 ft. Type 8 sink tip. It turned flies over great and let's you get down deeper. It is going to be good for shad and steelhead.

Put the line to the test yesterday with Bruce. We were on Bruce's boat and coupled with T-14 we were able to get down deep. We ended up with over 40 shad to the boat. Many of the grabs were mid-swing and not on the dangle so you know we were getting down.
