Fished Sunday morning. WINDY! I got a late start, on the water by 7:15. The wind was blowing pretty good when I got there, so I headed towards the inlet and launched the tube into a spot where the wind blew me towards a peninsula (don't want to end up on the evening news;)). Third cast had a good strike. Fifth cast landed a nice 17" rainbow (I'll put pick's up tonight).

Had a few more takes, landed another nice rainbow, then the wind decided I was done for the day.

I could barely keep the tube in position, so I got out and waded the shoreline. Casting became difficult to impossible so I called it quits. I only got to fish for about an hour, have a feeling if the wind wasn't an issue it could have been a very good morning. The two I caught put up very good fights with a couple of good runs.

Fished the Rub for a few hours on the way home. It's high and tough to get around. Caught a couple little guys on a PT dropper.
