Opener weekend on Fall River, Nor Cal

Here is Fall River veteran Terry Thomas with large wild Rainbow trout on the famous Fall River in northern California on the opening weekend - April 28, 2012. Fall River is fished from small boats.

Very nice fish. We also fished the Fall for the opener and the weather was perfect...very little wind and there wasn't a flotilla of boats.

I was on the fall this weekend as well... Wasn't getting much untill I saw someone fishing very differently than us and being very successfull. I'm sure that person was Terry because he noticed my kienes hat and said he worked there. Anyways, he gave me a little hint on how he was fishing I switched up my tactics from there on and mimicked the way he was fishing and started doing well. So I just wanted to say thanks for the insight Terry it helped alot!

So, what was the tactical tip? I had my Kiene's hat on too, but didn't see Terry. Though I did run into him at the Fall River Mills golf course last year.
