Stampeed lake is looking pretty good so far.
They will be closing the dam to traffic this summer, to raise it two feet.
Will require driving in the back way to get to the boat ramp. Fun....
Won't be as much wakeboarding this year though.....
I like it wave free and quiet anyway.......
Saw some big fish chasing in the bait balls on the surface early.
Good time to catch a fish.
I like a floating white/silver bugger, fished on a slow-sink line.
Go to a deeper line when the sun is higher.
Boca is filling. Lake level is almost up to the campground.
Fish near inlet, maybe try a streamer.....
Midges are going, but no ants yet....
Keep an eye peeled, the Eagles are doing their thing.
As of yesterday the anti-terrorist barricade on Boca dam isn't up.
When the lake fills, they raise it.
