Delta "Pole Dance'n In The Rain"

Fished Franks yesterday 24th in the PM and the San Joaquin this am. The best catching ever! One stop on a rock wall yesterday afternoon during the incoming produced over 20 fish all between 5 and 8 pounds. Mostly subsurface with a black and UV peacock fly tied with Steve Farrar's bleeding flash blend. Because the fish where stacked I could experiment with fly colors and the bleeding black with a UV peacock belly was the hot ticket. The stained water and overcast sky's made this color combo a very productive fly. I had fished the the SF Flash Blend bleeding synthetics in other colors during bright days with very good results as well. I also had some lights out top water catches with CB's Pole Dancer last night and this morning. It's rare that I call it quits while catching fish but thats what happened, I was pooped and content. If you can get out, now's the time fella's.

Thanks for the report! Looks like alot of fun out there.... If I can get a motor on my new(to me) boat I'll be hitting up the "D" real soon. Maybe I'll have to toss my 10 horse on it just to get out. It's been a hard 5mo's since I sold my bass boat.....Especially when Big Break is only about a mile from my house.
