Weekend in Truckee

So the ball'n chain is going away for the weekend and I've decided to go up to the Truckee the weekend before Memorial Day weekend. Can anyone recommend a hotel/motel that is decently priced since all I'll be doing is fishing and just using the place to sleep?

hostel tahoe in kings beach is nice, and cheap.
