Chatham wrote a great and very informative book, too: The Angler's Coast.

Lots of information about him, Schaadt and other notable California anglers and our rivers.

I met Russ C a few times and heard stories about him forever.

Everyone knows Lani....he did the first SA/3M videos on Steelhead 20 yearsa go.

Met Mel Leven at Rick's Lodge on Fall River in the 1970s when Bob Quigley had a little fly shop in the basemant of the lodge.

We know Jimmy Adams well.....many people know and love him.

I am in the movie in 3 movie clips but not many people know this.

One shot I am running down the riffle at Sailor Bar in the 1970s with a nice fresh Steelhead on.

Another I am on the Trinity River in 1982 in November with veteran Steelheader Joe Shirshac when a legandary run went through. Lots of the film clips in the movie are Joe Shirshac's....

One is a fish jumping near a snag in the river just above the bridge in Junction City.

Another I am trying to land a fish by pinning it to the bank on the Trinity River below Juntion City.
