For those that may be interested I will be hosted a steelhead trip at Kalum River Lodge on the Skeena River British Columbia. Dates are Aug 12th - Aug 19th, 6days, 7nights. This week is "THE PRIME" week on the Skeena in Aug. This is an even yr so all 5 species of salmon will be there, Pinks, Coho, Kings, Sockeye and Chums, of course the infamous Skeena River Steelhead, with cutthroat, bull trout and char galore. We will stay at Kalum River Lodge which is a 5min boat ride down Kalum River to the Skeena.
A+ Hospitality, A+ Lodging, Fantastic scenery, and A++++++ Fishing.
You can go up there and fish with single handed rods, but 2 handed rods is where it’s at. But don’t fret, I will be providing a Spey Clinic, a $150 dollar value, "FREE" for those attending the trip. We will go over you basic spey casting as well as proper mending and swinging techniques. That way you are dialed before you go, so when you hit the water there will be no lessons needed, you just start swinging and "FISH ON"!!! I will provide all the equipment for the clinic as well as drinks and snacks afterwards.
