Striper season has begun! Ive been exploring a North Western part of the delta for the last two weeks or so and found a few productive pumps. Fishing has been really good. Rain or shine they seem to keep biting. I've been tying my closers with heavier eyes lately, I think that seems to be helping maybe? Anyways, here are a few pictures of the nicer fish a couple of friends and I have boated over the last two weeks. The picture below was my friends second time ever using a fly rod. The picture is of a 5lber he landed, that was an awesome experience seeing how fired up he was. Sad part was he lost an 8lber or so right at the boat because of a botched net job of mine... Haven't seen too many striper reports lately so I hope you enjoy the pics!

Thanks Ryan....

That is inspiring.......spring is near.

Dan Blanton told me that March can be a good month in the Delta.

*April/May is the big spawning run that heads up near Colusa on the Sacramento River every spring.
