For sale is a Powell TiMax 389-4 rod with original tube and non-original sleeve. This rod is in excellent plus condition, with a few light scratches on the blank that do not affect performance or overall cosmetic appearance at all. The cork grip is a bit scrubbed from use, but the rod has not been used much and looks it. I have too many trout-sized rods and only a couple of them see regular use, so I'm trying to thin out the closet now.
Marketed as Powell's fast-action rod, I find it to be more of a medium-fast than some of today's true fast-action rods. Still a powerful 3-weight.
