We fished the SFA off hwy 50 yesterday. 5 of us total and we fished from 12:30 to 3:00. We fished on top, bottom, and everywhere in-between. Not one grab, but it was nice to be up there. Next time.

You didn't expect anything more in the middle of winter, did you?

How'd your quail season go?

LOL, I had big expectations!!!

Scored big on the ducks but not so much on the quail. I went out a few times and ended up with 1 to 3 per hunt.
We were hunting ducks at my friends ranch in Coleville and jumped tons of quail but the guns were loaded with 3" # 2 steel......Not good on Quail.
We found a great place for Mt Quail up by Heenan lake and will hit it next season. :thumbsup:
