I picked this rod up in Dec. and a week later I found a S4956/4 for a smokin' deal. I used the rod one time and havent had it out of the tube since. The only problem with the rod is a small piece of cork that broke off when I put it in the rod holder on my toon. It's about a pencil eraser size or smaller piece on the bottom of the grip, by the reel, you don't even notice it when fishing. Other than that it is in new condition, and will come with the blank warranty card. I was going to keep it as a back up but I want a new camera and need the funds more than a spare rod. $OLD
