The Marble Mountain Wilderness is one of the few NorCal wilderness areas that I have yet to explore... I am planning to make a weekend of it this upcoming summer. I have no idea about the streams and lakes in this region. Does anyone know if most lakes/creeks have trout populations? I would welcome PMs if anyone would be willing to share specifics. I love backcountry trout fishing (the beauty always makes up for the size, and there are always a few lakes with some behemouths). Anyway, it would be great to hear from any of you that have ventured into this area.

I've backpacked in those mountains and fished those lake for years. Lots of opportunity for adventure, solitude and fish...and not all small brookies either!

If you do a quick SEARCH of the forum you will find some posts that several folks have put in their words about different lakes/areas to hike. If you can't find them email me back and I will give you the info I have.
