Folsom Lake Report

Once again, chasing the DFG plant schedule to no avail. ](*,)Arrived at GB about 9:30 AM, virtually no one on the banks, just a half dozen boats in view. Trolled around, cast to rock piles for 2.5 hours and did not graph a fish. Talked to a boat troller who said he'd been there since 6 AM and was pretty sure no one had caught a fish around GB.

Beautiful day, calm water, couple of beers and some sun. This is my third consecutive skunk report which is getting embarrassing but I'll keep reporting in as stillwater reports seem a little scare .

Third skunk.....? Be not embarrased. I have been continually skunked locally since we quit perching and started steelheading in December sometime. Increased work loads have caused diminished time availability as does our increasing disposition for observation as opposed to participation, especially as "others" piscatorial participation increases.
I think maybe perch, smelt, or rubber trout at Blue L. next weekend.....unless of course the river is still in shape! ;-)
