Our old buddy Charlie Schillinsky sent me this photo of a super nice one he caught yesterday on a "Nor Cal" stream........

I guess we have to get off our butts if we want to feel that steel.....

Just came back to the BA from waaaaay north...everything viewable from 101 is fishable, or better.

Go now. You can always find another wife and get a different job.

What's that? Yes Dear, I'm coming...would you like jasmine or darjeeling?

Funny thing, I was on the phone with Charlie when he was hooked up with that fish. The man had the temerity to hang up on me so he could land that steelhead. If that wasn't bad enough, he called me back after landing the fish only to cut our conversation short after spotting a good fish rolling...how rude!

I'm tempted to post exactly where he was fishing.

Good job Sir Charles.

It's funny how all north coast streams have different looking bottoms .

Tom,
might be why we think of streams in the feminine sense!
Best,

Things might not be as rosey for the American in the near future. I heard from a fisheries person today that there are plans to lower the river to below 1,000 cfs if we don't get rain soon.
