The Fish and Game commission will take up the proposed striped bass reg. changes at the meeting on Thursday Feb. 2nd. The meeting starts at 8:30 AM and the striped bass proposal is item #9 on their agenda. We need to fill the place with people so they get the message. Go if you can, we (and our fishery, if we're to have one) need you!
Resources Building Auditorium
1416 Ninth Street
Sacramento, CA
There is public parking on the east side of 9th street across from the Resources Bldg....or street parking south on 7th,8th,9th
streets if you like to walk!

Mike,
For some of us that can't take the whole day off from work, is there a 3-hour window (best guess) that you can recommend? 9am-12pm? 10am-1pm? 11am-2pm?

From what I've heard I'd probably go with the 10:00 AM-1:00PM as the best choice. In reality though....it's like tryin' catch fog in a sack. One never knows how fast they can move through their agenda items!

Sounds good. Thanks Mike. I'll go for an early and extended 'lunch' and hope to catch the action.

Made it just in time to catch the start of the discussions. Great job Mike and the rest of the speakers in presenting your case. Had to leave at noon because of work but just heard through the grapevine that WE WON!!!!
Pure sweetness right there!

great job Mike and to the rest of the folks working hard behind the scene as well as those who wrote letters and attended the meeting. It was a great turnout and despite the dog and pony show the "coalition" put on our voices were heard & justice prevailed
the look on these guys faces as it was voted down was worth taking vacation day for.....it was priceless
