If you have the time and money and like to fly fish for Steelhead this is the place for you.

There are two good lodges on the Lower Dean River that have openings every year if you get with them 6 month or a year out.

This is wild salmon and wild summer steelhead on a virgin river.

Locally Joe Shirshac, Jeff Putnam and myself have been there if you need any inspiration.

I have a slide show from a trip with Joe Shirshac about 25 years ago...maybe we can get it out?

The lower river is perfect for Spey / 2 handed fly fishing...

At trip like this will change you forever.

fished there two years ago last september out of the hodson lodge (upper river above the falls) with my two brothers. The Dean is very remote and one of the most beautiful rivers I have seen. Nice to fish when it is not freezing butt and the fish are HOT!!

Franko, I met April last year! What a sweetheart !! And one fine Hen she is ,just like Jbird quoted. She has a very good vibe when you talk to her... And has quite a good grip on a two handed rod:D Got to love that Canadian accent... Ehh
