I'm heading up to the Garberville area next month. I was wondering if anyone could direct me towards good food and lodging.
Thanks everyone!

The Humboldt House (Best Western) in town is nice lodging as long as there isn't a show at the Mateel in Redway while you're there (be ready to party). There is a breakfast place downtown that is pretty easy to find, but I can't remember the name... Watch out for growers and their pit bulls8)

Eel River Cafe - breakfast and lunch. Close @ 2 pm, I believe. On right side of street
as you pass thru town.

Wood Rose Cafe is small but the food is good. South end of town on east side of street.
In Redway there is Persimmons. Limited menu but, again, good food.
Sandwiches, soups, salads, etc: "Flavors" near center of Garberville.

Best Western is fine place to stay. Never stayed there myself but that is from folks that have been there.

If you are coming through Fort Bragg: V'Cantos on Laurel Street.
