Fishing on the A in the rain

tomorrow is going to be great, fishing in the the rain. The first rain day of the year. I love fishing in the rain separates the fishers from the masses.

Agreed BassAk....fishing in the rain is awesome. As long as you're warm and dry, I find it very peaceful.

I've been jonesin for the rain so I can get out and use my new Stratus II waterproof jacket that I bought at Kiene's. Only $99 bucks and sweet looking to boot.

Time to test on Sunday!

Where were you? I fished upper sunrise at daybreak, then below whore island, then between the bridges.

I was there with my scuba gear.....only surfaced a few times to recharge my gas operated spear gun.

So I hit Rossmoor for a few hours today.

River level is fine, but only 1 foot visibility. No taps, takes or bumps.

Going to wait a few days until it clears.

Not a soul out there.

Fished below Sunrise on Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.. Nada. Still great to be out.

Thursday was great not many people and a great over cast saw lots of fish hooked one but it got off in a hurry.

Today was too bright and to many people by the time I left there was about to be a small army. It was a good day to do yard work.

Still looking for my first of the year but I'm getting closer.
