Suddenly found out I am free for the 3 day weekend coming up at the end of this month. Want to head north and swing flies for steelhead. Looking for guide for Trin, Eel, or whatever might be fishing. Have contacted a few but they are booked. Particularly looking for guide who is interested in Spey, but would be open to single hand as well...

Probably going to get completely blown out but who knows....

thanks.

Jim

Could be a solid waiting list for clients at this point in the winter, but maybe try Jason Hartwick or Jon Mircitech (sp)?

Hi Big Jim,

Jason Hartwick is a truly gifted swing steelheader and he lives like a gypsy chasing our Northern California steelhead fall through winter.

He would be my first choice and if he is booked, I'm sure he could give you a solid referal.

Good luck on your trip! Matt.

Have you called Craig at Shasta Trout? He's a great guide and digs the spey.

Nobody is as good on the coastal stuff with a spey than Jason Hartwick. Just pray for fishable conditions.

Conditions, Conditions, Conditions and can play with some sections of Stream being open or closed where you are headed. Just be optimistic wherever you're gonna go you are hitting it at the perfect time, unless it's blown and and want a couple days of staring at water. Confidence!

The Trinity is fishing really good and I have available dates coming up. Shoot me an e-mail or call me for more info.

I got to give another nod to Jason. Fished with him a couple weeks ago. He really knows how to swing for steelhead and he literally lives on the Eel right now!
