Over the holidays, I went back home to visit the family, and ended up having some time by myself. I decided to visit a river fairly close to my parents house. I started the day with a 4wt rod.. spent an hour losing multiple fish. These guys would pull my line so deep, my indicator goes missing along with a few feet of my fly line.. Got my ass whooped pretty bad.. so I went back to the car.. and setup the big gun... the switch rod. I was finally able to land fish after the switch was loaded and going. Spent a good 2.5 hours there then everything just died down. Had 1 wild buck for the day along with multiple planters that have been there for a long time. I had a video of me hooking a fish, fighting it, set the camera down.. and all you hear is.. "Fuhk".. but I'm ashamed of it. lol. So here are a few photos and videos.

it's nice to live there in the summer... creeks are only 45 mins away!

during the winter... it gets rough but it's hog heaven if you know where to go
