Switch Rod line

I just got a used Deer Creek 11' 8wt switch rod. It should be here next week. I am going to use this for swinging some streamers for steelhead in the rivers and some limited indy fishing. Wondering about the right grain line to use.?? I am looking into a skagit style....open to any suggestions as this will be a whole new style of fishing for me....thanks, Scott

Rio Skagit Short in 525gr is a good match for that rod.
