I am planning a road trip to Homer, AK this summer (June and July). Does anyone have any first-hand information on fly fishing opportunities for waters I will encounter in Canada and AK?
I will get a copy of The Milepost to help plan the trip. Are there any fishing guide books out there that contain good advice? How about "The Highway Angler: Fishing Alaska's Road System. Fifth Edition" by Gunnar Pedersen: any good?
