Stonefly Time?

Anybody seen any stones on the lower Yuba yet? Or is it still too early?

I saw a few dozen shucks next to some faster water last week.

I'll add that I brought no fish to net last week, but had a few good strikes and a couple of nice rainbows on that I thought I'd land (but didn't after a minute or three) all on two-fly rigs with stonefly patterns as the top fly...

I think February is a good month for the Skwala Stones depending on the flows.
