Some of those big trout are being hauled out into the upper arm of Amador and releaseed, so the only way to reach this area is by boat or a verrrrry long kick in a float tube. With about 50 boats, and 25 pontoon boats, float tubes, and kayaks in this area going every which way in the middle of the lake, i was thinking about Coast Guard Regulation for a float tube....hahaha... We got to this area a little late and only had one fish landed between 4 of us, its a long kick, but the fish are there so get there early and be safe.
