Boys, I might have paydirt on the Middle Eel. If indeed I own the title you shall all have access and a spot to camp. Cost per day....uh two bucks. Might even lower that. We shall see how this plays out.

More likely, the mythical State of Jefferson.... :lol: I do recall some close calls from/brushes with some of the locals on the main Eel. There're some serious dopers/growers in that area.... :-s

I remember your dad telling me about fishing that property on the MFE many years ago for Steelhead with a dozen or so fishing buddies.

The MFE has a run of true summer Steelhead that are pretty big.

A friend of mine told me about driving the river with another guy for the CA DF&G counting those lovely fish in the middle of summer.

Not a lot of access on the MF but they are there if you know where to go.
