I have been looking for a quality rack to manage my rods for a while and wasn’t able to find one. I was about 4 hours in to making one and decided to take one more look online when I came across the Inno racks. I was only able to find one decent review online, I'm not sure if they are new or what, but I went for it and purchased the ZR356 model.

Several models are available:

ZR351 space saver (about $80): It looks like the rods will bounce around like crazy on this one

ZR352 (7 rod) / ZR 353 (10 rod) (about $120): Same basic principle as the rack I purchased with less expensive mounting for the handle of the rod.

ZR355 (14 rod) / ZR356 (8 rod) Premium: I went with the 8 rod model because, well, 14 rods is a bit excessive. This rack has an upgraded mounting holder for the rod handle.

I purchased the rack from autoanything on ebay, located in CA I had to pay tax but shipping was free and it arrived in a couple days. When it arrived I was surprised by the quality. Very solid aluminum parts.

It requires assembly and takes about 1 hour to assemble and install properly. I installed it on a 2002 Toyota 4runner. First you mount the window mounts and put the cross bars on. The weight of the rack pushes down and out on the window mounts holding them securly in place. So much so there is actually a warning that pulling down on the cross bars may cause the side windows to break. I have no fear of this rack falling off like some suction cup models. Next you assemble the rack frame and mount it to the cross bars and you are off to the races.
Here is a link to the only other review I found online: http://www.montanatest.com/rating-results/readresults.php?result=105
The cross bars actually spanned from glass to glass on the 4runner which diddnt allow the rack to be pushed up tight against the ceiling so I cut about 8 inches off of each bar. Now you can see the rack is as high as it will go. there is plent of room for 2 passenders in the back but reduced headroom for the center rear seat. There is also plenty of room to move about when camping or sleeping off the booze in the back. The larger bars will work great in a full size SUV or van.

The down side of this rack is a limitation of my car. My lightweight gear, 6' rods shown in the pic, fit great. I also have an 8' 5wt that clears the front window by an inch. I can fit my 9 footers in but the tip bends down on the glass. OR i can simply lower the front window arms down slightly in about 5 minutes and the 9'6" rods fit straight aimed towards just above the dash where there is more clearance from the windshield (does that make sense?). you can also keep the back window down and have the rods stick out the back a bit for going from fishing spot to spot.

This would not be an issue in a full size suv or van.
