Fished with long time friend Reed Anderson in the Delta today. He is a trout nut from Idaho and a regular on the Wood and Silver Creek but loves to chase stripers when he is in NorCal. We covered a lot of water, from Liberty to the Moke, and found many places that held no fish. Fortunately we stumbled on to a stretch of water about a quarter mile long that had a good number of eager and cooperative fish. We started early and threw "PoleDancers" till our arms hurt with no grabs or follows. We made a big move and found one eater using a Rio OB S6 with a custom shad pattern clouser on the end. We moved a short distance and found a, spread out, school of aggressive eaters and for an hour or so, at the end of the incoming tide, we hooked 12 keeper sized or better stripers to 4# and one LMB. I was just about to end this very poor "Fall Season" but mabee not so soon. Fun, Fun morning.
Thanks Reed.

12 keeper-sized fish in an hour is pretty danged good action for this striper season. Glad you guys found some.

That OB6 S6 is one solid line.
