This is one of the most exciting videos I have seen.

Charlie Bisharat just posted it on Dan Blanton's BB.

The Gulf Coast of Louisiana is the top destination for Redfish.

Like the Charlie's "Airhead", the "Pole Dancer" is an amazing pattern.

Looks like they are using "Crease Flies" too.

These flies can be bought at most fly shops and are produced by Umpqua.

We carry them in all sizes and all colors.......all the time.

Bill,.... You're driving me nuts with this stuff. That's some exciting fishing. I've fished down there with relatives when I was a kid but back then it was bait or bait casting only. No flies.... I may have to get back down there this winter.... 8)

Last October Jim May and I fished out of Hopedale with Greg Moon and we can't wait to get back. This November we're heading back again and meeting up with Bill Siler and his son Kyle. Bill and Kyle will be fishing with Greg Dini.

Going a bit later this year we're hoping for some bigger fish in that same area. Last year Greg Arnold wrote a piece in Flyfishing Saltwaters magazine titled "Fishing in the Land of Giants" all about the Hopedale and Biloxi Marsh area. Also, Jose Wajebe did several shows from there too. Next to Venice. this has to be one of the best destination spots for fishing in Louisiana.
