This is the finest C.F Burkheimer Spey Rod made. With a Skagit shooting head, you can cast 80-100 feet with ease. I've used this rod approximately 10 times on the Deschutes river over the years. It has no scratches. Also please note the reel is not included.

Description: All around summer/winter steelhead rod for medium to large rivers and average size fish and flies. Handles sinking tips with authority. Matches up well with lines from 550-700 grains. Personal favorite: Skagit 450 + 10' Cheater + 117 gr. tip = 693 grains. This line is used with both floating and sinking tips from a 7/8/9. Balances best with a reel that weighs from 9 to 9.5 oz.
I used a Hardy MKIV.

I am also including the travel case. The rod retails for $895. and the case was $119.00

It's being offered for $575.00.
