I was lucky enough to go on my buddies bachelor trip in Alaska this past summer with 6 great friends. Don't tell my wife, but it was by far the greatest trip I have ever been on. We took float planes from Dillingham AK and landed on a lake in the mountains and spent the next 8 days floating, fishing and camping on pristine river system 75 miles to the Berring Sea.

Mark Rutherford of Wild River Fish was our guide and put us on a ton of fish and made some of the best camp food I have ever eaten. Mark also introduced us to some water that experiences very little pressure. We managed to float 5 full days before we saw any other sign of humans. Mark takes pride in fishing quality river systems that may take some work to get to but his groups are rewarded. If you are looking for the ultimate Alaska experience I highly recommend a float trip with a group of friends. And if you want the best, I can't stress how great of a job Mark did.

Check out the link below, we were the Burke group on the South Fork.
