Headed to the South Delta yesterday with Kiene's board member Wooly Bugger and friend, Brian. Started at 6 A.M. and fished hard till 12 P.M. As has been the case lately we found tough fishing. The rain stopped but the wind was blowing a bit, but the guys handled the less than ideal conditions well. We found stripers and a few LMB at most of our stops but the fish were small and and not in good numbers. We ended the day with 12 Stripers (only 2 keeper sized) and 3 LMB. Lost another fish in the weeds that looked to be better than average. Great guys to fish with and I greatly appreciated their effort, they both deserved big fish, I just could not find any for them.
