I had to post again and nobody seems to post here anymore so I went to Berryessa again this week and tried to figure this warmwater stuff out. Started at Capell cove, me and about 7 nice bass boats. I started with a black wiggle tail as I heard they had planted trout and the lake had turned over. Got nothing for about an hour so put on a clouser white and green. Immediately caught 2 small bass and saw a larger one follow one of them in.Thought I had it down then nothing for another hour. Tried a diving clouser, topwater popper, muddler, and other stuff before deciding to head back. Tied on a big clouser I tied fro stripers...4-5 inches long silver and holographic tinsel, and blue deer hair to kick back to the launch. Halfway back felt a thump and low and behold a bigger bass(not big really but big for me here) made it to the net.

I was surprised but then only a few hundred yards from the dock another bump a bigger fight and a honkin Bluegill came in.

This thing barely fit in the net!

It was getting dark so I had to go but maybe I figured out something...though everytime I think that the next time it doesn't produce. I guess thats why we call it fishing:)

I might have to join you out there soon, I love that place. And for the record just because you take a close up picture of the fish doesn't make it any bigger.:D
