Please excuse my ignorance, but what is an R3.5 spool? Is this to an older model Lamson 3.5 reel?

I am looking for a Lamson Hard Alox 3.5 spool.....

Pretty sure this is a spool for the original Ross R series reels, the ones that have the same spool design as the San Miguel.

This is a spool for the Ross original R Series 3.5 reel...not interchangable with the San Miguel.

Yeah sorry, I meant that the original R series looked similar to the San Miguel (same flower-petal shaped design) to offer a reference point since the latter is a more well-known reel.
