wanted to do some dry fly fishing so i hit the lower sac after work this evening. i headed to a spot a few minutes from my house thats easy wade access and i have always done pretty good with drys there. got on the water around 6pm. caught a decent hatch but not a lot of surface activity. tied on an elk hair caddis and managed three hookups with one 17" to hand. about the time i landed my one fish it was pretty dark and the hatch had about finished. got back to my truck at about 6:50. not bad for 45min of fishing.
