Carson Pass Fall Colors II

It sounds like the fall colors had not quite hit their stride last weekend, so I am interested to know how things look now. If anyone is fishing up along HWY 88 this weekend, I would appreciate any reports on the colors (and the fishing, of course). Thanks.

Just remember if you go Monday thru Friday, They are blasting rock at Carson Pass and are closing Hwy 88 from 1:00 to 4:00 each afternoon.

The launch ramp is closed at ICR
So I went back to Caples and it was sloooowwww . . .

I drove through Hope Valley yesterday. I'd say the colors are just about peaking. Lots of trees are bright yellow, with some still a bit green.
