all the steelhead entering the river in the fall winter over in the river, and spawn in the spring. The bucks caught were generally darker then the hens. We caught hens that were more chrome, some that were just starting to pink on thier cheeks and down the side of the body. All of the fish caught faught damn hard. The biggest one I landed took 20 min to land.

F*** Me! Just too nice. Were you fishing w/o a guide? BC is on my bucket list, maybe next fall if plans work out. I can't really afford the week long packages, but would like to fish a river where I can use my SH rods and maybe get a 1-2 day guide, then fish on my own. Is that possible? I was thinking of the Bulkley.
