Just a quick heads up and an opinion.

In the October 2011 edition of the California Fly Fisher there are a pair of articles, Wading the Lower Sacramento by Lance Gray and Fishing the Lower Sacramento without a Bobber by Andrew Harris. Anyone whose ever wondered about the wade fishing opportunities on that river or what other effective strategies there are for fishing the Lower Sac really owes it to themselves to pick up a copy.
