While casting on the American yesterday, I saw my first sandhill cranes of the season. Fall must be here.

This is a perfect example of why I love this site. I can just imagine the scene of a fisherman casting and seeing the sandhills come back for the season. No need for a fish report somehow I just know you had a good time. Thanks again.

We had a pair nesting on the Sagehen cove of Stampede reservoir. Such cool birds. For whatever reason I get the feeling they sound like dinosaurs must of sounded like. Totally alien compared to anything else.
