Yep, its now a public park so you dont have to pay either. Just make sure not to miss the side channel pull out. Definitely dont leave anything valuable in your car either......

The ramp is not quite up to par with a professional grade boat ramp but you will be fine if you have 4wd. 2wd is probably still doable just be careful.

The takeout at Sycamore is probably best with 4 WD. Easy row to the parking area.

For shuttle service you can call Dale Everett (the caretaker at Hammond Grove Park) and he will meet you at Sycamore; take your car and drop you off at the Hwy 20 bridge area and return your car to Sycamore. His numberrs are: Home 530-741-6604 and cell 530-740-2280. Cost will be $20-25 depending on if he has to drive his car to the Hwy 20 bridge or meet you at Sycamore.

Hope this helps.

Gary,

Baja was good, not excellent. Billfish did not show in Loreto in numbers.

Haven't hit the Yuba since closure above the bridge. Hoppers and zonkers were the ticket until it closed. Lets get your spey rod out on the Feather when the flows drop a bit.
