Wonder what they would pay for an old fly fisherman? I do have some titanium
in me! Thanks for the info, Bill.

I am also a collector of old tackle, rods, reels, wood lures, books, and advertising that shows fishing. Got hooked on collecting in 1984. I also trade newer stuff for old. I live and work here in Sacramento. If anyone has old stuff they want to get rid of, or have it appraised, give me a call.

Hi Larry

I had a titanium plate with screws in my leg after a serious dirt bike accident at 18 years of age. After a few years they took it out and I have it on my deck near my computer at home.

About twenty years ago, my Father was going to a lure trade show to basically dispose of a box of bass lures that one of his good friends gave him several years prior. Almost all of the lures in this large box were "New in Box" Heddon lures circa 1930-40s. My Dad was going to one of these trade shows expecting to get $5-10 per lure but luckily, his best friend found some flyer (pre-internet days) of what certain lures went for and especially noted were the very rare colors in a particular "lure line". I believe the highest price he received for one of rare lures was over $150.

While I'm not a bamboo fly fishermen, I do know the value of a few rods that I inherited...
