Lower Yuba River flows are finally coming down

Yuba County Water Agency : flows on the Lower Yuba River with start their Fall reduction on August 22nd.

The flows are scheduled to decrease by 200 cfs per day until September 1st at that time they will be about 800cfs and will be held there.

Bought my son a rod for his fifth birthday and took him to the Yuba yesterday. The usually broad shouldered fish looked skinny and tired from months of high flow, but don't tell him!
