First time I've floated it since mid-winter w/ the high water. I would prefer the flows be south of < 2400 cfs but no such luck. I moved through the water with the higher flow but tailouts seemed to be where the fish were caught. I threw an indicator 99% of the day and all the fish came on caddis and pmd's. I can't wait till it drops to 1500 cfs or so.
There were alot of bugs flying when I got off the river around 7:45 but had to leave - they were slashing at the surface which leads me to believe there was a caddis hatch in the works.
