I'll try again. I found the tip of a very expensive rod in Morro Bay the July 4th weekend. The tip was found in a bush near the old Standard Oil pier. I would love to return this to its owner.

Indeed, the tip of a high end fly rod Bill. I wish someone would claim it. A sad thing to me. I would be devastated if part of my rod was missing.

Have you posted an ad on your local Craigslist? Or is there an SLO area fly fishers club you could contact?

Have you have contacted the Mfgr? After all, that is who the owner is going to go to, for a replacement...
